For anyone who is at dickinson now, which mean plan would you advise for freshman? There are three options, traditional (20 meals a week) and then flex points.

My D started with the traditional plan, and ended up sticking with it (off campus this year, but a rising senior in the fall, and will continue then with the traditional plan). But she is a pretty regular eater (not at all overweight, but never misses a meal – food is important to her). I think D’son recommends that you start with the traditional plan first semester. I believe you can switch to a different plan mid-year if you decide one of the flex plans would work better.

My daughter finds the flex 1 plan works well for her. She used it the first two years (is also off campus this year) and has signed up for it in the fall. She likes the social time of eating with friends, but also enjoys the pizza at Miseno’s and occasionally just grabbing something quick at one of the other dining options.
