My daughter will be a freshman is trying to choose a meal plan. I think we're leaning toward the All Access +7, but would love to get some feedback if it's worth going with the +7 or +14, or just going with the All Access Basic. Thanks!

parent here: I thought the +7 was fine…

.but my daughter vetoed it and took the 14; she said that without knowing how much flexibility she would need first semester, and what the food was like in the dining halls, she wanted to be “safe rather than sorry”…

I wonder if they can change it for second semester?..I guess we can figure that out later…

Personally I wouldn’t recommend the basic only because that really restricts them to only eating in the dining halls (unless you don’t mind paying every time they go to the other establishments_)

WEa re just going with the basic. You can add money to the Phoenix Card and buy other meals and the +7 locations. I know when my older daughter attended, we dropped her meal plan down after the first semester, but none of her extra dollars left carried over. I think it is better to go with the lower cost and then increqase it if needed.

Parent Also…we are going with the All Access +7. I’m sure she won’t eat 3 meals/day. I figured we should go with the option in the middle and see how it works out. My D likes to sleep as late as possible, so I’m pretty sure breakfast won’t happen often.
