I thought you can just get a meal plan for food.
but what are aggiebucks and dining dollars?
and is it cheaper 2 buy the food instead of having a meal plan?

I believe Aggiebucks can be used for anything as they are like real cash. Dining dollars can just only be used for food.
I don’t know what you mean by buying the food instead of the meal plan but start off the semester by getting the cheapest option for your meal plan. If you seem to be eating more than usual, just simply add more meals/dining dollars when you start to run out.

I’m getting the 30 meals/$800 dining dollars option btw. :)

^ thx for the reply. So wat are 30 MEALS if dinning dollars are used for food? I can’t quite grasp the concept of Meals vs. dining dollars. and btw, how expensive is that plan, xcellerator?

The meals can only be used for “meals” that you can buy (sandwich/pizza, chips, & drink) and can’t be used for individual food items whereas with dining dollars you can buy whatever food item(s) you want.

For example, I can buy a snack like chips or cookies with my dining dollars if I’m not feeling hungry one day rather than use my full “meal” from my plan. The meals are also limited on choices. Like, on Mondays you can only get Sandwich A at Place A (that kind of thing). It all really depends on how you eat, though. If you eat 3 meals a day, and don’t snack much then go with the 200 or 250 meal plan. If not, then get one with more dining dollars to buy smaller things with.

Lol. I hope you get what I’m trying to say. xD

Aggiebucks aren’t what they used to be. They’ve changed it into essentially just a Wells Fargo checking account/credit card, not worth it.

“Meals” also entitle you to all you can eat at either of the dining halls. At the other cafe’s on campus, you can use a “meal” for the maroon plate special, but other than that, dining dollars are used.
