When do we get measured for uniforms? It seems like they would do it before I-Day. What about shoe size?

You will get measured from tip to stern on I-Day.

Including shoes.

No guarentee the white works you get issued will "fit".... they do, and have, run out of "sizes" in the course of the day....I know one mid who lost his drawers carring that sea bag up the back steps of Bancroft and nearly tripped over them in the process!!!

thankfully, they know how to measure - and when you do get your official issue, they will fit like a glove!!! (at least for starters!!- where you go from there is a horse of another color!) ;)

Congrats on your acceptance.

Part of I Day is getting getting processed for all sorts of things among them are measurements for your white works uniform, hair cuts, sneakers and in between reading Reef Points for your rates.

You'll spend a lot of time in the "Tailor Shop" during the summer. Seemed like a daily occurrence. Measured for uniforms, then when they're ready you go and try them on for fit.

Here is a tip for plebes to be. When you are getting measured for something make sure it fits exactly how you want it to. You're dropping thousands on uniforms so get it right the first time. I ended up spending a few hundred dollars of my own money to buy new uniforms during the ac year because the stuff I got over plebe summer didn't fit.

It is plebe summer and you'll feel the need to rush but when it comes to getting clothes take your time and it'll pay off for you.
