Mech Engineering - Automotive concentration

<p>My DS is interested in mechanical engineering with an automotive concentration. Also high on his list are internships/co-ops with automotive manufacturers. His goal is to work in R&D. </p>

<p>Some of the pluses at universities he has seen and liked have been the co-op programs and the SAE Formula team.</p>

<p>Does UT have anything that would be what he's looking for?</p>

<p>Also interested in OOS Scholarships - 34 ACT / 3.9uw/4.0w GPA with several longterm EC's.</p>

<p>Maybe the thermal and fluid system is what he is looking for. They don’t start taking their area of concentration courses until junior or senior year, I believe.</p>
