<p>It will be close to $30K worth of out of state tuition & room/board at Texas Tech, (ranked #95 in U.S. News Engineering Ph.D. Rankings), whereas Cal Poly Pomona will be $15K of in-state-tuition& room/board (ranked #11 Master’s Rankings). What do you recommended?</p>
<p>Unless you are a student-athlete, go to Cal Poly Pomona. My cousin went to Texas Tech and didn’t like it too much. Also, I don’t think paying twice for the same --or less-- is wise.</p>
<p>I agree with going to CPP. You will save a lot of money and it’s a great school.</p>
