Mechanical Engineering

I finally got accepted into Mechanical Engineering at McGill and it is my first choice and possibily only choice considering the money needed for places like Imperial college London. I am an International Studetnt from Pakistan so I really need to know if the money I am going to be spending on McGill is really worth it?

I know that Engineering isnt McGill's forte but I have heard that it is really good when it comes to Mechanical and its one of the hardest undergrad major's to get into. So I have a got a few questions.

1) Is McGill's Mechanical Engineering good? How does it rank in North America and is there a better Engineering program at McGill?

2) How hard is it to maintain a good GPA?( I am targetting 3.7+)

3) Do McGill Mech graduates get into good Grad schools, such as Ivy league schools.

4) McGill is commonly associated to be much more focused on the theoretical rather than on hands on experience. Does the same apply for Mech programs too which I think should be traditionally much more hands on?
