Mechanical vs. Electrical Engineering

I'm just comparing the two courses and would like to know the pros and cons between the two courses. Like jobs from which of the two fields would be more lucrative and prospect of growth and so on.
Thanks in advance

Electrical is considered by many to be more challenging. It’s more specialized and has one of the highest engineering starting salaries. Electrical engineer jobs are always needed.

Mechanical is a general degree, but it still has much potential. The starting pay is still up there towards the top. Mechanical engineers will always be needed as well.

Both have opportunity to advance. Electrical seems to have a little more potential in my opinion, but you’ll truly excel in what you like the most.

Think deep down what you would like to do more. I’m not sure exactly what each type does, besides the title that gives some insight.
