Trying to decide between the two. Can anyone tell em the major discrepancies between the two? Such as what you learn, careers in the future, etc.

This is totally my own personal anecdote, but I wish I were an electrical or computer engineer (I am a ChemE). Tips for deciding between them:

Look up the curricula, four year plans of the majors. It should be on the college website.

Examine actual job offerings for those degrees on either the college job website or sites like careerbuilder.com

Both of those majors have broad career possibilities, but you also have to specialize within the major. A power company might not hire an EE who specialized in computers.
By the way, do you like to program? Because the job offerings for software engineers are huge right now.
