Just a few questions for med students:

Does the weeding out process continue into medical school or is there some relief from the competition? I realize most people will be very intelligent, but does the competition for grades still exist and to what extent?

Also, considering prestige matters relatively little for medical school, do lower-ranked medical programs offer a more manageable experience for their students?

Have you enjoyed medical school so far? How does it compare to the undergraduate years?

Is there anything about being a medical student that you didn't expect / have especially liked or disliked?

Any input would be great. Thanks.
