Should I go to med school or law school(JD/MBA). I have a passion to be an attorney and go into politics or investment banking but I love biology and want to help people. What is the salary of a caridologist after residency? I need suggestions on what to do i'm so confused.

haha whattup ballplaya! if you've seen my posts around, i wanna go to law school too. but, now that i see someone like me, screw both of em and lets try out for the nba

if med school did not require LABS for classes, i'd go in a heartbeat [maybe]. i just cant stand labs, since they are regarded as 'half a class' [e.g. 1 unit !!!!] i HATE wasting my time like that! i only like going to full classes, i cant STAND going to a stupid lab which is worth almost nothing!!

so ...i am choosing law school, cause they require no lab, and mostly because it's real interesting..

Don't go into medicine if you don't have a passion for it - it would be a massive waste of your time and you'd be doing your patients a disservice.

shouldn't judge labs simply by their number of credits.

there are much worse (more worthless) activities you can spend your time on.

Um...if you hate labs or not getting credit for working long hours, you shouldn't even consider becoming a doctor or going to medical school.

Not to be a jerk, but do you really want to help people, or do you want to be a doctor for the salary? If you're going for the dollars, go to law school. If you go to a top law school you'll be making six figures by the time you're 25. With med school, you won't be making squat until you're probably about 30.

or just do investment banking after graduation and be a millionaire before you turn 30.

OR go to law school and use your degree to help people. OR go to law school and go into something using both science and law. Altneratively, figure out exactly which grueling programme you want to spend over $100k and several years on before you do it. (That's the big sister in me.)

From the sound of your post, it sounds like you'd be happier in law. Do some more research in the medical field and make your own decision.
