<p>Most medical students are master procrastinators...if it's not one thing it's another - facebook, fantasy football, rivals.com, espn.com, baking, running, working out, knitting, drinking...these are all things that many of my friends spend a lot of time on. CC just happens to be something that I do.</p>
<p>Further, and perhaps more important to your perceptions, Med students are well known for vociferously and constantly *****ing. If you had listened to me last year describing being an M1, you would have thought that I never slept. I know that constant griping is ubiquitous amongst my friends in med school regardless of location of school. I swear last christmas break was a competition to see who had the worst first semester. Part of it is venting, part of it is saying "gee look how bad I have it, and I'm still putting myself through it" as a way to stroke one's ego (which all med students secretly love doing).</p>
