I will be getting into my senior year as a premed student doing a bachelors in Biology. I was just recently comparing medical school and pharmacy school, looking at time it will take to complete and the amount of loan I would have accumulated. I am 20 years old now and by the time I become a physician I will be about 28 and I want to specialize as an orthopedic surgeon. If I go for Pharmacy i will be about 25 by the time I'm done. can someone please help me compare and make a decision?

Have you shadowed a pharmacist? A physician? Which job appealed to you more?

If you haven’t done shadowing for each profession, you need to do so ASAP. (Pharm school requires shadowing as does med school.)

You should not go to med school if you would only be happy as an orthopedic surgeon. Ortho is a extremely competitive specialty and there is a a high chance that you will not be eligible for it. (You need to be in the top 5% nationally on the USMLE exams to qualify for ortho.)

A decision like this is intensely personal and is not something anonymous individuals on the internet can make for you.

You need to look at what you value in your life and make a decision based on your goals and values.

I agree…you have to choose based on what you want to do…not what is faster.
