I am currently a senior in high school. I really want to pursue medicine but I'm not sure which career path to take. Some days I want to be a doctor and other days I want to be a pharmacist. I don't really consider myself as a "Smart" person but I am willing to work hard. I have a 3.71 unweighted GPA in high school, does my GPA in high school correlate to how successful I will be in either med school or pharm school?
Which one should I go with?

You won’t know anything about either until at least halfway through sophomore year of college. Once you have finished your pre-med requirements you will see if you have a competitive enough GPA and you can go from there. High school will not tell you anything for medicine or pharmacy schools.
Go with the one you feel you would enjoy more.

Depends. If you received straight A’s in chemistry, biology, math, and other “medical-school-necessary” courses but B’s in English, social studies, etc. I don’t think you’ll suffer through medical school. Be aware though, the kids who are pre-pharmacy and particularly pre-med are FIERCELY competitive. You have to be on your A game 100% of the time.

I’m in a similar situation. Pharmacy school has its perks (stable 6figure job, shortage, short masters program) and medical school can be long, degrading, stressful, and expensive. Ultimately it’s how much work you wanna put in your life, as pharmacy school, although still difficult, is the safe route as compared to medical school.
