<p>I'm a junior transfer for Fall 2011 and I'm planning on majoring in media studies. While I haven't declared it yet, I have met all four prerequisites courses. But since I haven't been officially declared, that means jack squat. So I'm wondering if any fellow media studies students (past or present) can offer advice on signing up for classes. I'm pretty much locked out of all the media studies courses, can't even get on the wait list, and I am in the same boat when it comes to a number of the upper-division electives that aren't media studies courses.</p>
<p>Also any advice on taking a course that satisfies the American Cultures requirement would be appreciated as well.</p>
