If anyone has any knowledge on med school acceptance rate statistics or even how many apply to med school from rpi I would be ecstatic.
Are you currently a student a RPI, or are you considering RPI? Are you a HS senior who was admitted?
Due to grade deflation, it’d be quite hard to apply to med school from RPI. Those who manage to have med-school worthy GPA’s (3.6+ - VERY hard to get) would be well-prepared.
I am an admitted senior deciding between rpi and an accelerated medical school program.
I’m assuming the bs/md program is in an undesirable school. Can you say which one it is ? And indicate your stats ?
Go to the BS/MD program. Any MD school is good. Getting into even a single MD school is difficult, especially with the kind of grade deflation we experience at RPI.
@Indiankid96 that is what I ended up picking. It was hard to turn down the great financial aid package I got at rpi though.
