Medicine in Scotland?

I was wondering how hard it is to get into the university of edinburgh?, I'm a sophomore and i have perfect grades, I havent taken any ap or honors classes because my high school doesnt offer them, thats why im going to transfer to a private school, can you please tell me what i need to do to be able to study medicine in the UK?

check out this link

US qualifications | United States of America | International students

it explains everything needed

Well, I've just received an offer from Edinburgh to study mathematical physics.

I do the full IB diploma, and I'd say I'm a pretty strong student, but physics is not a very popular course, overall.

Medicine will be much more competitive, so you'll want top grades, to be frank.

Entry directly from high school will not normally be considered.

All other information irrelevant because the direct link provided by viventi states as above.

^^ Well, it will depend on if he is doing the IB or not. If he does the IB, Edinburgh will consider him for medicine. If he just does APs, however, they will not.

Hmm what about going there for undergraduate school and then Medical school can you do that? how do you know that they consider you for medicine if you do the IB?

Because there are students in the UK who get in to study medicine by doing the IB. This is because the IB is generally considered a much stronger qualification than American APs, and so Edinburgh and most other schools will not consider doing AP classes sufficient preparation for a medicine course. IB, on the other hand, is considered sufficient preparation.
