Mediocre GPA, Good Scores: Chances? (Ignore my first attempt, please.)

Okay, so I posted a really lousy version of this below, but it was so painfully dense that I'm going to try again:

GPA: 84 or 85, at least approximately. My school doesn't use the 4.0 system or any weighting system, with the exception of ditching all band/chorus/jazz band grades from being counted in the GPA
Test scores: 2140 SAT (CR 780, M 640, W 720), 31 ACT (E 34, M 29, R 34, S 28)
Rigor of course load: With two exceptions, my school's version of "college prep". (This doesn't say much: my school is too small to offer many advanced or honors courses, and there's only one AP course.) The exceptions: my taking American Lit an alternative way to avoid the teacher who was teaching both levels, and my switching down to the normal US History class second semester this year due to extenuating circumstances.

Extracurriculars and awards: School band (piano/melodic percussion), chorus (soprano 1), and jazz band (piano/melodic percussion), all three from freshman year on.
Theater productions, including a couple of Shakespeare productions
All-State Music Festival three years running, soprano 1 section in chorus
Local jazz festival: chorus sophomore and band (piano) junior year
Vermont Young Playwrights Festival: honorable mention sophomore year and finalist junior year
Class government: treasurer junior year and president this coming year
Major role in school musical

College choices, in a vague order:
Hendrix
McDaniel
Drew (legacy)
Elmira
Elizabethtown
Saint Michael's

For those of you who looked at the last version, I didn't do proper research on Guilford or Simmons. (Fail.) Neither one has a molecular biology or biochemistry major, which is what I plan to major in. Needless to say, they're off the list.

Oh, I forgot something: I’m also considering Hartwick College.

Bumpy bump bump.

From what I know This is my opinion:

Hendrix College: Low Reach
Drew University: Safety

Those are the only schools I know enough about to make and educated guess. Good luck and if you don’t mind, can you chance me? I find chances others is easier than yourself (ego and all)

Oh oh oh, I’m also considering Sweet Briar. I forgot to mention that. (Fail.)

I don’t know about that school.

You are well above the test scores however you are well below the average GPA which they put more emphasis on as opposed to test scores.

I’d say you have a fair chance. I wouldn’t bet against you

I think you’ll get in to Hendrix, they accept 85%. That said, It is fairly academic. My D is in her 2nd week there (Mol Bio major) and is commenting on the work load already. So far she loves it! And the aid was great. Good band (good music scholarship, even for non majors), great theater facility. As D said after her visit, " I liked it cause it had the most “normal " kids”. Coming from a Performing Arts HS, I’m not really sure what that meant! I saw a very wide variety of students, a good mix of all types.

Is money an issue, these are not good aid schools.
