many thanks.

I’ve been researching this because we’re hoping our D will be named a National Hispanic Scholar and lots of schools give the same scholarships to both. Schools that do give NM scholarships, but don’t give NHRP scholarships aren’t included in my list. The list looks short because I only included schools that give large scholarships.

U Arizona, Full Tuition
Arizona State, Full Tuition
U Nebraska Lincoln, Full Tuition +2,000/year + possible additional scholarships
Oklahoma State, Full Tuition +$5,500/year
Ball State University, Full Ride
University of South Carolina, $10,000/year
Auburn, Full Tuition, $1,500 tech allowance in the first year, Guaranteed Admission to honors college
Georgia State, Full Tuition, Room, $1,000/year, $2,500 enrichment experience
University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa), Full Tuition, Room, $1,000/year, $2,000 enrichment experience
University of Alabama (Huntsville), Full Tuition, Room, Board, $500/year textbook allowance (For NHRP, they also offer Full Tuition and $500/year for Honorable Mention)
Westminster (Salt Lake City), Full Tuition
Boston University, Full Tuition

Remember, this is only a partial for NM.

Hendrix College in Arkansas has unwritten policies that can piratically match any national merit offers.

University of Pittsburgh!.. very nice honors college/graduate school guarantees. very underrated school. you can get full tuition if you’re stats are really good.

Look into Penn State Shreyers Honors College too. arguably the best honors college in the country. not sure if you would be able to get a full ride though.

both public universities.

trying to be honest with you… you have very competitive schools on your college list. find some safeties and matches as well. i read that you took the ACT on a whim sophomore yr, but make sure you get that score higher or even take the SAT. scholarships and honors colleges are very stats driven.

lol@that

no sorry, you’re special so unless you got a 2400 on your sat, a 4.0 uw gpa and found a cure for cancer i’m afraid you’re screwed and gotta pay double tuition.

juststoppingby, do you have a list of schools offering large merit awards to someone with 33 ACT, 3.9/4.0 average, lots of honors and AP classes getting A’s and B’s?

I would contact the schools giving the National Merit awards and see what you can get. You have GREAT stats. Seems to me you will definitely get some help from the schools on that NMF list. They actively want great students.

Sorry to bring back this ancient thread, but does anyone have verification for this comment?
