<p>I was recently invited to the Meet the Deans Event for UIUC Business School. Were you all also invited? Any thoughts from current students who were invited to this event?</p>

<p>I know of the event, but have no direct experience with it. However, given its timing, it’s likely heavily recruiting-oriented. It’s an opportunity for the CoB to show you that they’re very interested in you, and its an opportunity for you to gain a much more personalized view of and information about the university, the College of Business, and its programs. If you have the time to attend, I’d say it’s more than worth your time.</p>
<p>I think I got the same email, except it’s for the college of ACES. Just to clarify, @foreverindia, the email invited you to freely register to an event at a restaurant and talk to advisors of the college of business for scholarships, abroad programs, and becoming an Illini? </p>

<p>Yes that is pretty much what the event is about @fsxchamp95 (although, it is not at a restaurant, it is at the Illini Center!)</p>

I have not received this and I am instate. No one I personally know has received it either which is why I’m trying to figure out what it is! Are you instate?
My daughter (in state) did receive the invite, the event was held yesterday in downtown Chicago.
