<p>I live approximately 5 hours away and because slo lack’s parking i have to take a train to get to there. I don’t know anyone going to slo and it’ll be pretty boring visiting such a huge campus by myself. Anyone mind meeting up? </p>

<p>Im pretty sure the open house weekend is called Poly Royal, and it is supposed to be a huge party weekend. I would suggest if you have any friends going to Cal Poly you should try to stay with them for the weekend, its gonna be fun.</p>

<p>After my son got accepted last year, he found a facebook page for Class of 2012 (newly admitted students). A bunch of them agreed to meet at Open House. They met again at the thing in Summer (can't remember what it's called) that helps you register for your first quarter. By the time he got there in the fall, he knew a few people. They even have a facebook page for the dorms. Check it out</p>
