I've been told that these schools are considered terrible medical schools. Why? I thought that all U.S Medical Schools were amazing, and had the same general curriculum.

No, not all US medical schools are the same. Some are of course brilliant, and some sit at the bottom of the barrel, naturally. I’m not familiar with any of those schools, but I can tell you all of them did not rank highly enough for their rank to be published by US News and World Report, for whatever that’s worth (something, at least).

Not terrible med schools. Historically Black medschools, so ask who said terrible and why…

There are no such things as “terrible US MD med schools”…All are at least very good. Some are better or the best. None should be considered to be “bottom of the barrel” since that has a subpar meaning.

At the end of the day, both the Harvard grad and the Howard grad are called…

doctors.

they aren’t terrible, they might be considered that since they come from HBCU’s but a medical school, is a medical school. Both Morehouse and Howard are ranked high and competition is fierce

Depending on what you want to do, these school are among the absolute best in the country and the world for that matter, but again it depends. if you are researcher you might want to go to another school, but if you want to practice medicine, have trauma center skills, you wanna intern at one of these or do a military medic training.

Well, they’re terribly hard to get into:
Morehouse applicants: 5173 matriculants: 78
Howard a:7275 m:117
Meharry a: 6242 m: 105
