I'm a mensa member over 2years.Should I mention about it at the admission. Some people don't like when I mention it but some people is impressed by it.Also according to some people mensa is loser club, place for egoists. What does americans think about that subject_ What does MIT thinks?(I know you can't read their minds just guess :) )

Honestly, I don’t think being a member of Mensa alone is that impressive… If you don’t really do anything, and its just to have that “genius stamp” on your application, I wouldn’t mention it. That, to me at least, just sorta seems egotistical. Basically, it just means you did well on a standardized test, which your SATs should show anyways…

However, if you’re actively involved in the Mensa community and its actually a big part of your life, then go ahead and mention it. They definitely wont look down on you because they think its a “loser club”, but just like any other club you want to be an active member, not just be in the club so it can be a line on a resume.

Actually I’m pretty active. So I better mention in social activies

yeah, mensa is only top 2%, which really isn’t that amazing (2230 SAT is top 2%), so membership alone isn’t much of an accomplishment.
