I’m so thankful my area has supported housing. It’s worked out well for my son. He goes up to the office twice a day to take his meds. His building is an old house that has only four units. The staff, usually two people, are on site all the time. My son has a roommate with a similar diagnosis who’s a year younger and very pleasant. It’s not perfect because I still have to keep an eye on cleanliness and whether laundry is getting done, but it’s pretty good. I would be overwhelmed having him at home with us.
