I currently subscribe to The Economist, but I'm looking for another magazine, but one that is a little more on the fun side. Has anyone read this magazine?

I've read it once but it was a bit too political and busnessy for me..
I prefer the Time magazine (we're subscribed).
It has couple of fun stuff in it (like facts and figures) and i like most of the articles they have.
I like National Geographic too, when it has interesting philosophical articles on ancient history and other topics relating to that. But i think this magazne is the polar opposite to the Economist so I dont know if you'd like it..

The New Yorker Magazine is a weekly and I have enjoyed reading it for many years now. You might also look at a copy of The Atlantic.

National Review

I'm trying to get playboy... too bad it doesnt have articles though

reading playboy sounds like an awesome "reading" excercise for the critical reading section of the SAT

Playboy has some articles in it.

I would suggest the New Yorker. Its a really awesome magazine.

new yorker!

I love the New Yorker. Even more since I went to the New Yorker Festival this year. They sure can put a good event together.

I love the Economist. I currently get Time. It's pretty easy to read though.

playboy actually has some pretty good articles in it....Mark Bowden writes some very witty strips for them fairly often. (no, I'm not a perv...my brother gets it and hey, I'm only human.)

The only magazine I read is Rock and Ice. but something tells me that that's not what you're looking for.

I read Foreign Affairs, Economist, BusinessWeek, Fortune

and Nintendo Power.

Yeah, the New Yorker seems more fun than the Economist or The Atlantic Monthly, and all three are worthwhile, although the New Yorker seems so NYCentric at times . . . wonder why.

I stick with National Review, Time, USNews, WSJournal and NYTimes. A whole slew of viewpoints.

Personally I think Time sucks. It's got so much crap for middle-aged women (and men, but women more often) that I don't care about.

I like Weekly Standard and National Geographic too, with some Sports Illustrated sprinkled in.

I get Sports Illustrated and Rolling Stone... I do enough reading that when I have a time to read a magazine I don't want to be reading anything that makes me think.

PCMagazine :)

Initially when I got the Time, I thought it was amazing.

Now when I read it, it's all ... gossip. Which president said what, etc. I'm waiting for one of those cheap magazine deals.

I read Scientific American and Writer's Digest.

Mental Floss is very entertaining, and if you're like me and you like knowing a lot of useless but interesting stuff, it's probably for you:)
