Does anyone have new information about merit aid at Brandeis? My understanding from the Brandeis admissions web site is that ALL applicants are considered for merit aid, and that various of the available non need based scholarships are awarded completely on how that student ranks among all applicants, not just RD applicants. While I understand that it might make sense for merit aid to be awarded to “entice” the highest achieving RD students to attend, it was our understanding when my son applied ED this fall that ED and RD students all have the same chances at merit aid. Am I wrong?
