Is it confirmed that they were mailed today?
It seems the only way to confirm that scholarships were mailed today is when somebody posts tomorrow around noon or 1pm (PT) that they got something.
Do OOS’ers from nearby states receive it a day after mailing? Or do we have to wait 2-3+ days?
First post of this thread has those details but usually second day after mailing for NorCal and a lot of the country in or near major metro areas.
I was on campus last Wednesday for a campus visit/ class sit in and the admissions staff who was giving me the presentation (I was the only one there; it was a Wednesday afternoon lol) said that we should be notified of the decisions (December 1st deadline) by this week for sure… idk if that helps anyone but yeah LOL
Do the packages come via ups? if so, can they be tracked by MyUps?

thanks! then they are slow… will take a few days to arrive even for those in California.
Last year those in Los Angeles reported getting it as early as noon the next day

On USPS, I see that I have a package coming. Are deferrals also sent in packages-- as opposed to in a letter-- or are only acceptances sent in packages?
@univbound101 they don’t send deferrals in the mail, just an email

Package is merit box if it is a package from usc. Deferral is portal update and email.
@CADREAMIN So if you applied by 12/1 and you weren’t selected you would get an email to that effect? Sorry if you’ve answered this already…I looked at the initial post and didn’t see that info BUT I could be missing it

Do transfer students get transfer merit scholarships in the mail this time too?
I have a 3.9 which is well above the average for the transfer merit scholarship and I submitted my app before the Dec 1 deadline. Will i be notified between today and tomorrow if I get in with the scholarship?
