Merit scholarship at UMich with these stats and ECs?

I am an OOS and I'm applying to UMich for premed with these stats:
-32 ACT (hopefully 33 on my next try in sept)
-3.8 UW
-3 APS soph, 5 APs junior, 4 APs senior... so somewhat rigorous schedule (my hs is really AP heavy)

ECs:
-tennis since freshman year, captain junior year
-NHS
-volunteering experiences mostly at hospitals
-some teaching and restaurant job experiences

my parents and I are seriously considering UMich but they are kind of hesitant on the expensive OOS tuition

Your GPA is slightly below average while ACT score slightly above average. It is very unlikely to get merit aid (or at least the large ones) at UMich with these stat.

Okay, thank you billcsho. I also heard that if you have a job in certain states for a year that makes over $2000, you are allowed to pay in state tuition for public universities in that state for your sophomore year. Do you know if Michigan is one of those states?
