Merit scholarship - Do they look at weighted or unweighted GPA?

I want to get a full scholarship to Wayne State University. Looking at their merit scholarship chart, I need to get a 34 ACT and 3.5 GPA. My current GPA is a 3.4 unweighted and 3.53 weighted. I am currently a Junior. So my question is if Wayne will look at my weighted GPA, or my unweighted. Also, if they look at my unweighted GPA, if I increase my unweighted GPA to a 3.5 by 1st semester senior year, can they update my merit scholarship?

You need to contact the school to find out. Go ahead and call or E-Mail. I’m sure they’ll let you know what the rules are.

Usually unweighted, but check the specifics at the school.
Also, usually they will look at your 1st semester Senior year grades, but again, check.
