Does anyone know of merit scholarships (preferably non-departmental) offered by the university that AREN'T for incoming students? I'm wanting to apply for some because I'm payin full OOS tuition, and I got pretty good grades this semester, so maybe they'd consider me.

I've asked the same question to about 5 million different people...the pickings are slim chibears. I'd look at the LSA scholarship for continuing students. The app will be available in January. You have to have financial "need" though, so make sure you fill out the FAFSA. Outside of that, there's not really anything that the University offers.

Yeah kb, I included the word "merit" in there since I'm thinkin I'll get the FAFSA shaft once more. Nothing you've heard of that is purely merit-based?? I'm going to get some from the math dept I think, but their funds are quite limited so I was looking for something from the U.

Purely merit based.....short answer: no. Long answer: no.
