<p>Just received a $7000/yr Villanova Scholarship. My letter was actually postmarked today (I live 40 min. from Nova), the 20th so I'm probably one of the first to get a letter. </p>

<p>I applied EA.
wasn't invited to the Presidential Scholarship interview. </p>

<p>umm i guess stats...
2240/33 ACT
4.27 GPA/ top 5%
decent ECs. </p>

<p>This was more than I expected because I know Nova doesn't give out much merit aid so this is nice. and i think the scholarship letters were sent with RD decisions so everyone should get their letters tomorrow or monday!</p>

<p>Nevermind the last post. I did find the merit aid online. It's under the link "View Freshmen Award Letters". My D also received a $7k scholarship!</p>

<p>how did you find your fin aid status online? I didn't find mine on my novasis.</p>

<p>I got $12,000 a year. If you go on Novasis and find the financial aid section, look for something that says Freshman Award Letter.</p>

<p>I have a list of law school letters under my financial aid, but I didn't apply to the law school. When I click on them, it obviously says not a valid law student. I guess if i don't have a freshman award letter it means i didn't receive one?</p>

<p>I just can't find that part of "freshman award letter." Does it mean they wouldn't give me a penny?</p>

<p>Does anybody else have unsatisfied requirements? I haven't worked (under the table babysitting) so I don't have any w-2 forms of tax returns. It says these things are needed. Then a loan iterview link popped up today on the requirements list. I can't find any financial aid.</p>

<p>oh ok i found it. my financial aid status says incomplete too. but it's incomplete because i need to fill out some loan interview. looks like i didn't get any financial aid, just a Stafford Loan... unsubsidized too.</p>

<p>I got a $4,000 merit scholarship and an $18,000 grant. I was very happy with that, because I thought Villanova would be one of the schools I'd have to write off for financial reasons. Now, I think I'd be able to afford it.</p>

SAT- 2100 (R-720 M-650 W-730)
GPA- 3.9 UW
Class Rank- top 10%
lots of great EC's and community service.</p>

<p>Hey guys, does the "Freshman Award Notification" link only show up when your award is finalized? If I don't have the link does that mean I didn't get any merit/financial aid? These are the only links I have:</p>

<p>perkysquirel – it’s a commuter scholarship. Stats are:</p>

<p>ACT: 30 Composite, 35 on English and Reading
GPA: Homeschooled, no GPA
Other: Used college-level texts for most courses, published online literary magazine since grade 10, president and founder of local chapter of Youth United for Global Action and Awareness.</p>
