I'm currently a junior in HS and I completely messed up my first semester of junior year.

In my freshmen and sophomore years I earned a 3.86 and 3.71 UC weighted GPA. I'm currently taking 1 AP, 1 honors, and 2 sciences (AP Bio and regular Chemistry). However, I messed up and got a 2.5 GPA for the 1st semester (Ds in both AP Bio and English Honors). If I work hard and earn a 3.7~4.0 for my second semester, will I have a chance to get into UCs such as UC Irvine, UC Davis, or UCSD?

I haven't taken my SATs yet but I'm planning to take it in March.

My ECs are (so far):

2 years of badminton; varsity girls doubles (freshman year) varsity girls singles (sophomore year)

over 5 years of tennis

secretary of a dance club

community service 30+ hours

internship and volunteered at a company for pets for 2 years

Marching Band and Symphonic Band: 3 years

Piano : over 7 years

Colleges I plan to apply to:

UC San Diego
UC Berkley (I'm pretty sure I won't get in, but I just want to try)
UC Santa Cruz
UC Davis
UC Irvine
UC Riverside
Cal Poly Ponoma

Please help me, I am so worried right now about my first semester grades.
