So I'm a junior right now and I'm worried about my gpa. I had 2 b's in freshman year and a b- in sophomore year(in ap calc ab) After that grade, I worked really hard and got all a's. Right now I'm in junior year and taking 3 aps(thats my school's limit) and I got all a's for this semester. Will my first two years of high school bring down my chances of getting into top universities. I want to go into earth science(geophysics). I also didnt really have any excuses:( worthy of putting on college apps (it was mainly becuase of inner conflicts I was going through). Thanks for any comments!

That is not exactly bad, your GPA is probably a 3.9 unweighted (which is actually rather good). It will probably not alter your chances drastically for top schools. I only have a 3.85 uw and will be applying to top schools. As long as your GPA is not hideous, it won’t kill you, you are more then just a GPA…

don’t worry you’ll get in :)

lol, I messed up freashman and soph. years too, but with a 3.6=( which colleges do u want?
