<p>I was just wondering how high the beds were assuming I didn't want to use risers.</p>
<p>I was just going to ask the same thing. I know that in many (all?) of the dorms the beds are adjustable in height without using risers – how high (and for the OP, how low) do they go (without lofting)? (I am particularly interested in Court, if they differ.)</p>
<p>You can call your service desk for measurements I believe. Look for it in the housing portal under first-year FAQ. I decided to bypass all that and just request to have my bed lofted before I get there. I’ve seen some pictures where the bed is about 3 feet off the ground, but I think that was a nonstandard setup. If storage space is your problem, I suggest seeing for yourself when you get there, then hitting a store for bins that fit perfectly.

<p>Thanks, we’ll give them a call. We already have a couple of 3- or 4-drawer plastic units that my son might like to bring and store under the bed if they would fit, but obviously we don’t want to schlep them if they won’t fit!</p>
