<p>I had to make a dicison among Miami University in Oxford (Ohio),the University of Iowa and SUNY-Buffalo. But as an international student, I have little acquaintance with these schools and don't know where to go.Could you give me some advice? Which one has the best reputation? I really need your help.Thank you very much!</p>
<p>Which SUNY Buffalo are you talking about: University at Buffalo or Buffalo State? Buffalo State is okay, my mom went there for a year and my boyfriend's mom went there to get her masters. It's a decent school if you are thinking of going into education. I don't like the neighborhood around it but a few blocks away you do have Elmwood Avenue, which is essentially the shopping hub of Buffalo. University at Buffalo is larger than Buffalo State. UB has the North Campus and South Campus. The North Campus is located in Amherst/Williamsville and the South Campus is located in the University Heights District in the City of Buffalo. It's a good school although it is known for its partying, which can be a big problem at the South Campus. There have been disputes between the residents of University Heights and students because some students would be so wasted that they would run down the streets naked (this was actually discussed in a news article recently!). If you go to UB, make sure you live right near where all of your classes will be at (ie. you don't want to live in the dorms on the South Campus and have to go to the North Campus for classes). The food isn't too great at UB, according to what I have been told the food at UB is fast food. The classes at UB are good depending on what you plan on majoring in although class sizes are around 150-300 for a lecture! There are numerous student groups at UB. There are sports at UB but they aren't exactly the best lol.</p>
