Can anyone give me any info on Miami Oxford’s Speech Pathology program? What are classes and teachers like? And I was considering double majoring Speech Pathology with either Special Education or Neuroscience, thoughts? I am a CCP student at Miami Hamilton, with a 4.0 GPA and have taken 3 AP classes along with 2 Dual Credit classes and am involved in showchoir, good chance on getting into Miami Oxford or no?
I’m a speech pathologist. Yes, you can major in communication disorders at Miami…but you will need a masters degree to actually be certified and licensed to BE a speech pathologist.
I would urge you to go to the American Speech and Hearing Association website. In the section for,the public, there is a good mount of information on colleges that offer the masters, and what it takes to be a speech pathologist.
