<p>I’d apply no matter what, it can’t hurt. But I agree with aglages, you are gonna have to judge yourself against other OOS kids and credentials, not IS.</p>
<p>kmccrindle - Wow, thanks! Incredibly helpful post. I’m definitely applying - I’ll just see what happens. Hopefully I’ll get money - UMich would be great if I could afford it.</p>
<p>MLDWoody - Yes, I realize it’s a lot harder to get OOS merit aid than IS merit aid - my cousin who lives in Detroit got a near-full ride and said they give a lot to instaters, but unfortunately, I’m not in-state.</p>
