Michigan State decision only took a week?

<p>I'm excited to say that I got my acceptance letter from Michigan State University yesterday. I'm a little confused though - I submitted my application on November 1st, and the letter is dated November 8th.</p>

<p>What's up with that turnaround time? The website says decisions are typically made within eight to twelve weeks after the application is submitted. The school was also sort of a reach for me - my GPA was a 2.9 and my SAT was a 1920.</p>

<p>are you an out-of-state student? Do you have an upward grade trend? Sometimes their turn-around is really fast. Maybe they just like what they saw. Don’t question it; if you got in, good for you! There are some students who were deferred with similar stats and waiting the 12+ weeks…</p>
