My D wants to go to either MSU or Ole Miss. She wants to major in Journalism and feels a need to go to a school with a seperate Communications school. She got into both MSU and Ole Miss and both will cost about the same. Ole Miss is a couple thousand more but she got great merit scholarships. She could stay in California and go to a private college but it would cost us about $20K+ more per year. She doesn’t want to go to college in California. She is afraid Ole Miss is too focused on sororities and doesn’t have a great reputation for academics. Any thoughts on choosing?
