Microbiology as a major

<p>Some schools has this as a Major and some have this as a Graduate option. My uncle says that this major is very rigorous and time demanding. NC State has Microbiology major program and I was wondering if this is just as good as Biology or Chemistry major. Will this benefit me in the long run?</p>

<p>^Thanks. I just wanted to do something different other than the obvious Bio and Chem major. What ever it takes to get into Vet school someday lol</p>

<p>Micro is a good pre-vet major. Just make sure you get some animal experience, too.</p>
