Microsoft Office for Mac or i Work????

<p>Ok I know this another random question but which one?? I'll be at ucla in the fall and I'm about to buy a macbook online but I have no idea which one I should get! Most people are telling me to get Microsoft because it's more compatible with the professors...any advice?</p>

<p>I’ve used pages(I-work) for a few years it’s alright, but not being able to save in doc format can be irritating. I ether use parallels and save it in doc or use my PC. You can grab microsoft office for mac for free…</p>

<p>Been using Office:Mac since 2008, no problems.</p>

<p>I also forgot there is always web based google docs if you need to send something in doc format.</p>
