Microsoft Word Issue

I believe I am running the 2003 edition.

I was typing a German paper and got up to get the mail, let the dogs out, etc. When I got back, my tab button was messed up. The first time I pressed it, I only got a space. I pressed it again and the text was on the other side of the page. I checked the tab setup, and it is just as it should be: .5".

Then, when I went back to typing, the text did not move to the next line when it should have. Rather, it continued past the page (into the gray area) and wouldn't move to the next line. I had to hit enter to get it to do so.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about, or how to fix it? I've tried Google, MS Help, etc and can't find an answer yet. Not sure how this happened, but I really need to finish this German paper. lol

Thanks guys.

Use google docs

Copy-paste it and put it on a new document.

Unless you’ve already done this.

@FunStuff - I can use Google Docs for now but this needs to get fixed really soon…

@Grisam - Yeah I’ve tried that, I’m having this problem on any Word Document I open (even new ones)

Another thing you can do is get get a pirated MS office 2007. I’m assuming whatever problem you’re having with 03 is not present in 07.

But I wasn’t having this problem until about an hour ago, and I’ve been using this version for several years now.

It dun brokeded. Ya gotta gets a knew won.

I know places where you can get a pirated version of OpenOffice!

^****ing fail.

This is a few days old, but check the margins of your page set-up. Also, make sure you are in print view, not normal view.
