According to this study, Cal Poly Pomona grads have the second highest mid career salaries among all CSUs and 5th among all UC and CSU grads. Not too bad considering we’re also one of the most affordable!

…or considering that the “learn-by-doing” philosophy is AMAZING when you are looking for a job.

Also considering we’re also one of the most racially diverse. Who say’s you have to be white to make a lot of money. You just have to go to Cal Poly Pomona!

Amen to that. 29% Asian, 27% White, 25% Hispanic, 4% African-American, and 0.3% Native-American. Also, over 5% of the student body is an international student… the second highest in the CSU.

Also, strong ties to businesses in Southern California goes a long way.

Does anyone know what companies recruit at Cal Poly Pomona?

Southern California Edison has a great intern program that recruits from several area colleges - Cal Poly Pomona is one of the biggest contributors to the program. Engineering and Business majors mostly. After graduation, a large number of the interns convert to full-time employment. There are two Cal Poly students interning in my department right now, and we are looking for a third (any CIS majors interested check your career center).
