Mid-low GPA/high LSAT URM splitter for T14?

I unfortunately contracted mono (damn you, college plague!) during my first semester of freshman year, and only pulled off a 3.02--I missed nearly two months of school. Let's say, for the sake of this post, I finish college (I'm at a T50 undergrad, though it's a state school) with between a 3.5 and a 3.7. I took a practice LSAT for gigs over the summer, without any prior prep, and somehow pulled off a 176 (but consider that I did basically the same thing with my ACT, a 35).

Let's say I score there or above, but I'm still stuck with a mid-3 GPA. I'm Latino, as well, so I suppose that'd factor in. Would acceptance still be feasible at HLS, YLS, SLS, CLS and the like?

Given the [2012 data](<a href=“Recently Updated J.D. Profiles | Law School Numbers”>Recently Updated J.D. Profiles | Law School Numbers), I’d say a 3.7/176 (assuming you can pull one on the real LSAT) with a URM bump has a very decent shot at HLS, and thereby at lower schools as well. Yale is a bit of a black box so it’s hard to judge.

May I ask what does “URM” stand for?

Under-represented minority.

Georgetown or NWU might take you.
