Mid-Year Report

So its supposedly due Feb 10, and my school district has just started to mail report cards. And my counselor is lazy as hell so I don't feel like asking him until I have everything ready. It's a soft deadline correct?

Same issue with me.

I would assume it’s a soft deadline since they must realize that students can’t control when their schools send these materials to colleges…

I emailed them in March because our first semester grades still aren’t in the district system, so new transcripts and records aren’t available until later in February; GU said this is fine and to send them and the MY report as soon as possible.

One of my other schools contacted my counselor and requested my mid year report back in January. Does Georgetown do this, or are we responsible for having it sent on our own?

You should assume that you are responsible for having it sent on your own, in all cases. As for Georgetown, I’m not sure if they do that, but all they told me was to have it sent as soon as the information is available.

My school does the mid year reports the same way as transcripts. Will it matter if it’s not on their specific form?

That’s definitely something you’ll want to contact Georgetown and ask about. I’d assume they want it on their form, since they provide one.
