Mid Year Reports--Required?

Which colleges require mid year reports?

I don't really want them to see my mid year grades until after they make their admissions decision.

Does Brown, Yale, Princeton, etc. require them?

yes to all of them

I guess that means I'll have to send mid year reports to all of them.

I thought the admissions process ended.

I'm tired of doing admissions related activities.

What are the common deadlines for the midyear reports?

Most colleges do require them. Some of them don't have a form but still require it, so should be careful. For Regular Decision, most of the time they do factor it in. My councilor said that a drop won't be taken too seriously though (a small drop mind you).

However, places that you'd expect to want them sometimes don't. Take NYU for example. Its best to check with your college.

You should discuss this information with your guidance counselor. A school official usually submits the mid-year reports to the colleges.
