My daughter goes to a British school that does not send many kids to the USA. The US Unis that she applied are now requesting mid-year reports. DD’s school does not send out mid-year reports nor does it issue end-of-term grades (she is taking A-levels). Can I ask what your UK schools to respond to this? Thanks.
Guidance counselor or equivalent should tell the universities exactly that.
They may want to know if any predicted A-levels have changes.
@VickiSoCal Thanks, that’s what i thought. My daughter is on track for all her predicted A level grades so i will ask the school to be sure to mention that.
I would send in current predicted grades. US Unis understand that the UK doesn’t do the same thing as them in terms of reports and I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
I had the same trouble applying from a school which rarely send students out of the country, so I understand the struggle of trying to help the school with the things they need to fill in but at the same time being slightly clueless with what is needed!
Yep, having the opposite problem here getting US school to send predicted scores
