<p>Hey all. I posted this earlier on the BC forum, but figured it'd get more views here</p>
<p>I'm currently a sophomore at George Washington interested in transferring to BC. I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to chance me for transferring in Spring 2011.</p>
<p>Sex: Male
Perm. Residence: Northern Virginia (metro Washington, DC area)
Race: White, but will leave blank on application
Religion: Catholic
Current School: The George Washington University
College GPA: 3.55
Major: International Affairs
Credit hours completed: 38 (3 from AP)
Credit hours in progress: 16.5
HS GPA: 4.06 weighted. Top 5% of my class
SAT: 1470 (just Math and CR) 2180 (including Writing)
Activities:
-Army ROTC cadet on 4-year, full-tuition scholarship. One of the top cadets in my battalion in quantitative categories such as GPA, physical fitness scores, and military science grades. I plan on continuing this at BC
-Knights of Columbus
-Interned last summer in the political action department the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Will be able to get a letter of recommendation signed by the president of the union.
-Spent each of the last 5 summers (with the exception of the most recent one due to my internship) working on dilapidated/damaged homes in North Carolina for the poor and elderly.</p>
<p>I was accepted to BC as a rising freshman but for some reason chose to go to GW instead. Wish I could take that back but this is the next best thing.</p>
<p>I know my GPA, while good, isn't exactly impressive for someone trying to transfer in. But how does my profile look overall?</p>
