Any other transfers attending Midd in the fall?

bump10char

where are you transferring in from? Hope you enjoy this place! (lots of people I know are transferring out)

^hahaha… reassuring…

Wow, theroad, you seem to be really down on Midd these days. What happened? During four (and a half) years there I never met anyone trying to transfer. Plus I know the retention rate at Midd is quite high.

Yeah, my kids don’t know anyone who isn’t happy to be at “Club Midd”.

haha yeah thanks theroad…

im coming from georgetown. i talked to a bunch of frosh that i know there and they dont know anyone transferring out…

Don’t gang up on me! haha :P

Don’t get me wrong; I love it here. However, I can definitely connect with people who, having come from the city, are quite disappointed with how it is here. I didn’t realize my other posts sounded so bitter but being a nature fanatic, waking up to a sunrise on one side of mountains and seeing the sun set on the far side is something that trumps whatever a city has to offer.

I apologize for my exaggeration but slate, it is completely untrue that there are no one transferring out. I must be attracted to potential transfers or something because I know five (who are sure and who already have set acceptances). If I know five sure ones, there are probably more who are unsure.

Again, don’t get me wrong. This is a great place and coming from someone who also used to live in the city, I’ll say don’t expect the same things you had from D.C.

What year will you be? Do you already know where you will be living?
