Well luckily for me I can probably change majors come second semester and still get out of here in 4 years. But yea, I’m in a ****ty situation.

Thanks for the advice. I’m definitely going to reconsider.

Update -

Today I went to see an academic adviser about the direction I’m going with Finance. It was kind of embarrassing. I didn’t cry, but my eyes sort of watered. I’m so *ing stressed out. It’s honestly the worst feeling in the world. I’m as anti-manly as can be. I’m a *ing emotional wreck.

Nonetheless, here’s my plan. I’m going to try to register for an HR course that’s required for all business students. I’ve already missed 4 class sessions, but my hope is that the teacher will understand. I sent the instructor an email hoping that I can get their consent to enroll. If my request is granted, I’m going to drop Intermediate Accounting.

If I do major in marketing, I have to wait until next semester to start. I have two routes to go:
A) Double major Marketing and Entre. Mgmt, and I may or may not complete my minor in finance. The Entre Mgmt is essentially only a 10 credit major at this point, because I can get the remaining required workload for Entre mgmt out of the way through my marketing courses and another required course.
B) Major in marketing and minor in sports management

Overall, this has been an extremely upsetting past few weeks. I’m scared that I won’t be able to enroll in the HR course and will have to stick to the ACCT course that I’m enrolled in. Ugh. It’s Friday and I should be having fun, but instead I’m as depressed as can be

I’m worried that my GPA is going to plummet from here on out. Sticking it out isn’t so easy when you hate school!
